Are you sure that your ph meter is calibrated correctly? I agree that plants can adapt to an off ph, but 9.x is way to high; So, I think your pen is way off. Just a thought.

yeah im sure. mustve recalibrated it ten times when i started all this, its pretty good meter all in all tho. its a hanna hi 9813-5 i got it comped to me by friend at an industrial supply. oh and they arent adapting to 9+ ph, its raising the run off ph to about 6.6 - 6.8 maybe a little higher sometimes. dont know why just yet but adding high ph water is keeping the run off at normal levels. 2 of them may actually need the water bumped up alittle more as their run off is still in the very low 6s or high 5s. they all have the same ffof soil from the same bag. did my best to mix it well and flushed a couple times before i put the plants in.
its something with my water, filter it and adjust the ph and it behaves oddly one way, dont do anything it acts odd a different way. im not trying to figure it out anymore so much as just work with it. so far if i put high ph in i get moderate ph out and they seem happier. im working on rdwc rig so i have control over the ph etc directly.

Just looks like preflowers to me man. Just about every plant I grow does this given a long enough veg time. Good thing is at least you know its a female. BTW great looking plants:thumbsup:

tnx pushit hopefully i can keepem lookin good ph chase is still a bit of a pain in the ass. i figured it was a preflower but at 7 weeks outta the ground? and the nodes starting to shift?
the other 3 have nothing that i can see and no nodes alternating yet. i will admit the healthiest of the 4 is hard to see
much of anything its filling out so nice so it may have some preflowers hidin in there but the nodes are all still opposed.
i just hope it isnt gonna stash nads in when im not lookin

Yea it sounds pretty normal to me. Just pretty much means they are mature and ready to flower when you are.

Haha I know how you feel. Are you planning on transplanting again before the switch to flower? Just curious cause i noticed they have been in those pots for a couple months now. I personally like adding the fresh soil to the mix the day I start flowering. Less issues during flower. Something else that I usually do is clean up the little growth by the soil line. I usually cut off the bottom two sets of nodes. The reason is it makes it easier to water (not having a bunch of undergrowth in the way) and will give you something to play with if you decide to take cuttings for clones. A week is plenty time to heal if you decide to try and clone. I'm not trying to tell you how to grow (looks like you are doing great to me) just throwing out a couple suggestions that work great for me.
