    all led grow

i decided to separate this from the phototron debacle i have going.

so this is 4 no name plants, started off in their little dog turds, once they grow outta those ill move them into
larger cups with seed starter etc. im starting them off under the phototron light since it is less intense and blackdog
would fry them like beansprouts in japanese restaurant. i guess i may have to overcome some of my old
guerrilla farming habits like popping multiple seeds in the same container. i put 2 apiece in and
oddly enough all 8 popped....again did the same with the photoron and all 12 popped.
seems like gone are the days of running thru the woods looking for a good spots to toss
handfulls of seed out and hoping that maybe one or 2 spots will make it to maturation
without being found, ripped off, eaten by deer, and of course those few you can never remember where they were.
genetics must have improved a good deal.

ordered a bd360(have to wait for it to be built, but they knocked money off again so...scoooore!) for the veg tent. i'll use the phototron lite to get them started and then switch to the smaller blackdog for the remainder of the veg period.
i spent quite a while on the phone with the guy from blackdog regarding the bleaching issue i had originally . the 360 needs to be around 20ish inches above and the 700 needs upwards 2.5 to 3 feet above the tops during veg.
during flowering both can be brought down 12-18 inches depending on if you have co2, strain type, nutes etc. light wont be in for 2 weeks but i don't see needing it much before then anyway.

had to change out heaters. the forced air type may be causing some transpiration issues. the winter makes the air dry as it is especially when its like today at about 2 above. cant keep the rh above 25-28% most of the time.
had an open container of water but it wasnt helping enough. swapped out the forced air for a oil filled radiator. now i can keep the water on it with a rag in it so if i do spill it it wont make as big a mess.
I know i prob should have a humidifier but I am already a little closer to my max amp draw than i'd like. once the new light comes in and i start using that it will help some for draw and rh.

transplanted the lil ones. cut 2 of them to one plant as the they each had one with frail stems so. the other 2 pairs are a bit stronger. ive convinced myself by letting them fight for space, water etc. that it will make one stronger, survival of the fittest thing....
i took a few pics but most of them came out like crap. the light makes it funky...and my camera sucks..... ill get more later.
