    FEMALE I HOPE...

Ok people, newbie to posting, regular to this site. I've sat here for countless hours reading and studying threads for beginners tips to pros. I'm not a pro, but not new to growing. I've decided to get back into the farming industry. Now, the problem I've had and seen with others is common. I have young plants approx. 40 to 60 days old, still in veg., using one 75 watt grow buld and a 75 cfl, half suggested nutes, minumun foil for light reflecting ( always works for me ), in a 3x2x4 set up. I am trying to sex them as early as possible. Now, different threads have given multiple suggestions on how to provoke signs of sex and as well blatantly stating its "too early"....so, here's my question which I know I will not receive any definite answer for, and is more then likely the millionth time being asked.. am I growing some dudes, or some sexy ladies? I have good clear pics, showing one plant in the same stage as the rest... is there any sign of a lady? Or am I being impatient. I've heard some plant strains show signs of sex during veg. And I don't want to reduce to 12/12 so my yield is more abundant. The plants are all roughly 1'7-1'9 tall and no more than ten inches away from light. I'm using general organics root booster 1-1-1, and CaMg+ 0-0-0? Seems to be sufficient. Minor o.d. but I flushed and all is well. Growth was stunted minimally. I'm done rambling, but I know that the pics I have along with some good insight can help a lot more people and hopefully be more accurate as well...so heres what I'm working with! All responses appreciated, highly....correction....pics soon, having difficulties. 1 sec!

    FEMALE I HOPE...

first pic- of top node/new growth-to the next under

second pic- top nodes/new growth to third node

third pic- from third node down/larger new growth

fourth pic- 1'7 ft. tall plant/1 of 4 plants/all 40-60 days of veg.

Two more minor questions i cant seem to pinpoint exact strategy on. For those pros out there, it is clearly visible that no pruning has been done. For two reasons. I am not sure when to do this. Im more of a "if it looks fine let it be" type of grower. In past trial and error i have stunted growth and killed important vitals on my plants... So i tend to leave them be... Second, where do i cut? Where the three leaves are? Will this Sprout a new growth into a set of five? or does it always kill the stem and eventually just die to the stalk?...which has been my most reoccuring observation. OR, do i cut the set of five to max my yield? Im sure the are questions of an amatuer and you are correct. Like i've stated, ive done this before with great results, but minimun attention. This is my First "real" attempt to do things to a T. *CORRECTION* Also: to avoid any unwanted males and corruption of females, as i yet do not kno the sex, i wanted to note that i do not have four plants in a 3x2x4 together. each has its own Box n chilled out space to grow.

Attachment 288991I'm definitely NOT the pro here. but I would say wait. it's really hard to say at this point.

overall, your plants are stretched, probably do to insufficient light (lumens, height above the plant...........)

I know you'll laugh at my totally primitive set-up. it's the best I can do under the circumstances, but if I can figure out how, I'll post a picture of my grow 6 1/2 weeks into veg.

I appreciate the response greatly. And I hope your work pays off. Looks very descent and efficient enough. Now, I've made some progress in my grow since last that I am pretty damn excited about. But is it still too early? I'm assuming these are the first signs of "pre-flower", and I'm still in veg. period. Maybe 50days. But since yesterday I've made improvements on the most promising one. I've added two 1200lumen flourescent tube lights (the long ones)atop of this one. When the rest have been determined of sex I will put them together. So, here are the results of the past few days of what I strongly believe to be the beginning of female pre flowers. Notice the pods are more long then short and plump. I have no clue if that truely matters but from what I've read yes. And I've also heard the symmetrical growth is a good sign too. As show most clearly in the five gallon bucket pic.... I tried my best to get clear and accurate pics with labels. Lemme kno what ya think. ^-^ highly appreciated :rastasmoke:

Damn -_- thank you Mr. Disappointment... kidding. But thanks. Need more help/suggestions. Leaf tips bright lime green on upper fan leaves. Lower to mid sectionfan leaf tips brown...not enough nutes? Or too much nutes? I have organic root whatever 1-1-1 nitro potash n whatnot. And I stopped using after I noticed the brown tips. Also re potted in five gallon wit more soil moisture control miracle grow soil I think.. so is the soil enough for now? I've held back on watering too much cuz soil is always moist. Leafs look kinda dry tho. But its also been more then a week or two theyve been this way...None have died or wilted or anything. But I'm worried they might. Idk. I'm kinda at a loss with this one...here's pics... oye vey holy cow
