I just want a personal plant for my friends and I, and quality honestly isn't that big of an issue.
You can get a Big Buddah LED 2nd or 3rd gen on ebay for ~$150, a bag of Miracle grow and it will work if you don't mind the aroma.

My temps go from 50's-80 depending on how cold it is outside. I'm using a space heater in an enclosed area with the LED and Miracle Grow. Just harvested one Betty Boo Lowryder last week, 3 more in the grow and I can't complain...they're growing like....weeds! Don't over think this...keep it simple.
32yrslater Reviewed by 32yrslater on . Outdoor grow in Austin, TX during winter Hey guys I'm currently in Austin and I am looking to grow outdoors. I am on a low-to-nonexistent budget here so I need to know if I can do this with absolute minimal spending. It doesn't really get below freezing until late at night, and even then only a couple of degrees and for a couple hours. I would attempt an indoor grow, but as I've stated I'm pretty tight on money for equipment, etc.. Thanks guys! Rating: 5
