Outdoor grow in Austin, TX during winter
Thanks guys, sorry I haven't responded, I've been kinda busy. And No I am not actually in Austin, I live in Wil Co. It's pretty quiet so I should be fine.

Interesting.. Me dos
Well you might be able to get away with it. I've tried some "guerilla" farming in the forests out there but they got ripped up, not by cops though, evil kids haha
How do you plan an doing it?
Well I say go for it. It will be fun and a good learning experience either way. Just be careful you know how them wilco cops are

Well I only have 2 seeds so I was planning on just throwing them in the back and hoping for the best :P
All jokes aside, I'm probably just going to germinate them inside and then plant them in some small pots (don't want large plants) outside. And ya, I just recently learned that Wilco is the 2nd strictest county in the nation 0.o
Not sure if that's true but it's pretty damn believable. Friends and friends of friends have been getting busted left and right. I even helped in a little fundraiser to bail one out

Gettin' busted in Williamson Co. ain't a fun thing to do.....Been there done that. (Not for weed tho')
Are you going to put a pot or two in a corner of your yard or out in the wild somewhere?
If you choose the latter, what's your plan to keep the deer away?

The guy who said you cant plant til Mid May is wayyy offf. Im in the DC Maryland Area and I could get away with planting at the end of the month. YOu just have to watch the weather. They'll grow so slow it wont even be worth it if you have a week of cloudy days. We dont get much consistent sun til Mar. Hers what you do tho. After you've germinated them you can put them in styrofoam cups that you've poked holes at the bottom of. Take saran wrap and a rubberband and put it over the top after you've put the seed, root tap facing down, in the cup. This creates a humidity dome that helps the seedling sprout quickly. Let it go for 3-4 weeks in the cup depending on how fast it grows then go straight in the ground. I would avoid pots if you dont want to be spotted. Go as natural as you can.

I used some sort of seed starting mix because its very light and has perlite in it and just enough nutrients for a seedling. Miracle grow works fine and is only like $4. But yea you poke holes at the bottom and on the side towards the bottom and then you put the soil mix in. Put the germinated seed in there with the root tip facing down just barely under the surface, not to deep.
Then put the saran wrap over top and keep it tight with a rubberband. WORKS EVERYTIME!
