Anytime man. Most plants will show in a long veg time but some that I've had didn't show till within the first couple weeks of flower. The ones that showed in veg usually didn't show til after the nodes started alternating. This is just what I have noticed with my plants. Different strains, different reactions. Keep us posted and if you have any doubts, keep posting pics. Someone will let you know as soon as it's noticeable.

    Sex of my plant?

A plant will NEVER show its sex during the Veg stage.. if you can see the pistils.. your plant has begun flowering.. there is no such thing as sexing a plant while its in veg.. Its impossible! Usually the plant will show its sex within 3-10 days of being switched to a 12/12 light cycle.. This does not include Autoflowering plants!
I grow food.. Not weed.. But I like weed.. So I will help you grow it as best I can ;-)

I veg for 8 weeks usually and most indica dominant hybrids will show preflowers around week six. They will not start the bloom cycle until the length of day is shortened. You could continue to veg (18-24 hours of daylight) after the pistils or stamen show, even for additional months and the plant will not go into it's bloom cycle and finish. Autoflowerers are the exception.

You confirmed my point... plants are in pre-flower when they show pistils... I have heard in many cases that if you leave them veg after they are showing pistils.. it can stress the plants and cause hermies... Not a fan of super long veg times... But to each their own! Cheers!

I shouldn't even debate this but i'm bored before football starts. I actually just placed three plants with pre-flowers in flower not too long ago. The preflowers showed in 18/6 veg time. I have never grown an autoflower but according to you, that's pretty much all I've ever grown. That's good to know haha. Before you throw out words like never and impossible, I suggest you do a little reading or actually grow a plant or two.

I suggest you reread Shovel's post again real slow(especially the first line). Pre-flower= before or prior to flowering. That means during veg. You also talk about long vegged plants being stressed. Have you ever kept a mother plant? I've heard of people keeping mothers for years. Man those must be some stressed out plants haha. Where do you come up with this stuff? I seriously hope you didn't read it here and just made it up to argue. When you finish your first grow let us know how it turns out.
