New from CA - question
Hi Everyone. I am glad I found this forum!
I am from the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm 51 and just got a mm card. I bought some weed at a center and tried a small amount twice.
I am smoking mostly to help with back pain that doesn't respond to anything else much. The first time I smoked an indica plant and it did seem to help my back pain quite a bit.
When I went to the doctor who gave me the prescription, I told him that I was taking Parnate (an MAOI) and clonipin.
I take these to help control my PTSD.
He said there shouldn't be any adverse reaction.
However, both times I've smoked, I have had a feeling of being kind of "down", sort a general feeling of sadness.
I don't think this is the effect most people are looking for.
Does anyone have any experience in taking MAOI drugs with marijuana?
It's hard to find much about it, since these meds are now rarely prescribed.
Maybe it's just not a good idea to smoke weed for me since I take the MAOI.rayraypa Reviewed by rayraypa on . New from CA - question Hi Everyone. I am glad I found this forum!
