AGE OLD QUESTION - HYDRO VS. SOIL(indoor)

Ok now i've heard alot on this subject but not enouh i'd like the input of the growers of cannabis.com

I heard soil grows better buds becuase it takes longer thus letting it produce more resinated buds.
    BUT
everyone says hydro grows bigger, and faster but the real question is are they better??
quality is always my main concern. So excluding grower experience. If they were both grow by grandmasters and same strains with all the right nutirients. Which bud would be of higher quality.

AGE OLD QUESTION - HYDRO VS. SOIL(indoor)

A little bit of research, you would probably find hydro is clearly better compared with soil grow.
Have a read around the forum and familiarize yourself with the basics. Many threads about hydro and soil grows.
Personally i always do a soil grow purely because it cheap, simple and needs little work from me. ATB

AGE OLD QUESTION - HYDRO VS. SOIL(indoor)

Hydro will always produce more yield. Quality is always a debate, However; I believe quality is equal.

No plant finishes any faster whether it is grown in soil or hydro. Period. It finishes in the same amount of time. Hydro just has a lot bigger and more buds.

AGE OLD QUESTION - HYDRO VS. SOIL(indoor)

Ive always thought hydro has alot better control of nutrient distribution. With hydro you know exactly whats going in and when. Soil woul be less accurate in this regard.
    My two cents.

AGE OLD QUESTION - HYDRO VS. SOIL(indoor)

An organic soil grow produces the highest quality but takes longer. Hydro makes large plants and makes them quickly. It's a tradeoff. DWC as a hydro method is easy, but soil with all the ferts necessary for the duration of the grow is the easiest of all.

Unless you make your own soil mix from scratch. In that case, you do know what is in it. However; I totally agree with your comment!

Only comment I can make here is that it might be a little easier to grow soil, but I find that pests are extremely more prevalent in soil grows. Spider mites, fruit flies, and other little buggers...seem to thrive around organic soil and open wet soil. I never have a problem when growing hydro only. Just saying.

AGE OLD QUESTION - HYDRO VS. SOIL(indoor)

High Times is full of hyperbole. I mean it's good entertainment and I do read it, mostly in the Winter months but it's like the internet, you can't believe half of what you read.

Hydro or soil? It's whatever floats your boat. Whoever you are, and which ever you use there is always someone using the other method and kicking your ass.

AGE OLD QUESTION - HYDRO VS. SOIL(indoor)

You can say that about every thing you read...EVERY ONE HAS A BACK DOOR AGENDA. But i have been growing in hyrdo for over 30 years and ever one in Oregon is a dirt farmer..I dont under stand it..You may save a little to start out with but the work in dirt is twice that in hyrdo and my bud is better then any dirt farmers. Hyrdo is faster, cleaner and better. I do grow in dirt but only when i am growing 16' plants
