" NO MORE SPIDER MITES ON CANNABIS"
"I unfortunately have used chemical pesticides/ miticides on my medical cannabis plants (only in veg, as if it makes a difference, lol) in the past to try a get rid of spider mites. I have done the azamax drench and spray thing. I have used everything from dyna-grow neem oil, doctor doom foggers, sesame oil, and my favorite product up until a few days ago was Einstein oil (cold pressed neem). These products, including the chemical insecticides (which I have not used for years now) have never done anything more than control the spider mite problems I have had. That was until about two weeks ago when I picked up a bottle of this new organic mite and pest killer called Quantum Apocalypse. This neem oil based product is by far the best and most effective spider mite spray (organic or otherwise) I have ever used. The “micro particle technology” really seems to make a huge difference in the leaf coverage. Check out this video for yourself. Quantum Apocalypse - YouTube I sprayed at the higher rate of 80 ml per gallon the first time I used it. I swear that as far as I could tell, all living spider mites on my cannabis plants were dead within 36 hours. My plants seemed to love it. I sprayed at the lower rate 4 days later just to be sure. My spider mite problem is completely gone. GONE ARE THE DAYS OF LOSING PLANTS TO THE DREADED SPIDER MITE. The supposed Mayan prophecy of an apocalypse may have been avoided for humans but not for spider mites. I am stoked to have a product in my arsenal that I can actually see the results from using it and does not cost a fortune to use. Hope this is of help to all with a spider mite problemJOEGROW Reviewed by JOEGROW on . " NO MORE SPIDER MITES ON CANNABIS"
so I have been following these boards for quite some time now and I have been a Med grower for many years. there really is a tremendous wealth of knowledge on this site that many kind people willingly share. with a totally dialed in system the one problem I have never found the solution to has been the spider mite. I was one step from throwing my entire grow out and starting from seed again, thats when I came across this posting from Joegrow. I could not find Quantum at my local grow store (the guy hadn't even heard of it) so I ordered it off their website. I got the product like 2 days later, followed the directions using the high rate twice, applications spaced 3 days apart, and for the first time in years I'm completely spider mite free. I'm going to keep it up at the lower suggested rate every week so I can be spider mite free from now on. this is the kind of information that makes this site so awesome. To all who contribute, keep up the good work. thanks joegrow for spreading the good word.

" NO MORE SPIDER MITES ON CANNABIS"
I don't trust anything until I try it, or see it myself. Plus I enjoy testing new stuff that gets hyped up. This one was easy, it either kills spider mites or it doesn't. No waiting 2 to 4 months to see if that extra nute added to the program did anything. I mixed up 16 teaspoons of quantum apocalypse per gallon of water and drenched the plants down with it. 24 hours later I plucked two leaves off of the plant and busted out a stereomaster microscope and started counting (dead spider mites verses living ones). 1849 dead spider mites and 3 living spider mites. Then 48 hours after I initially sprayed I plucked another leaf and started counting again. 937 dead spider mites and 0 living. Combined that is a 99.89% kill rate and it could have possibly been higher. Who knows what would have happened in the following 24 hours to those 3 mites that survived the first 24 hours. It maybe a 100% kill rate for all I know and that??s with only the first of three recommended sprays spaced a couple days apart. I attached some photos for those of you want to check it out. Thanks for the tip Joegrow. Sorry I doubted you, but seeing is believing.

" NO MORE SPIDER MITES ON CANNABIS"
Your welcome! Quantum apocalypse spider mite spray is a huge hit here in RI. A fellow grower buddy of mine called it the “product of the decade.” Stuff works as advertised. The price is at least half of what the other products cost and is organic. Obvious no brainer. What rates, and how often, are other users of this product finding work best for them? I’m hearing from some that the lower rate for prevention works just as well as the high rate to kill spider mites and the eggs. Anyone else got an opinion? I don’t have any spider mites left to experiment on.

" NO MORE SPIDER MITES ON CANNABIS"
I went with 80 ml per gallon. Gotta watch it though, with any horticultural oil, the plants need to be completely dry before the lights come on. I raised my 1000’s in daystar hoods 6-8 inches (from my normal 20-24) for 2 days after the spray shots. Treated my ladies just great. I’m hearing that a lot of growers are mixing it up at 60 ml per gallon for the first 2-3 shots, killing everything, and then falling back to the 40 ml for regular preventive maintenance. This grower has had great success at the 40 ml rate from the beginning. Seems to me like she/he had a decent spider mite infestation that the quantum took care of even at the low rate.

" NO MORE SPIDER MITES ON CANNABIS"
I'd have done the same as you organicisgood... and the pics you provided are very good, them mites are some damn tiny suckers. Anyway, I'm glad to hear that the Quantum Apocalypse worked so well. I only got spider-mites once (they came in on a clone from a friend) and I used those predator mites but they take a fair bit of time to accomplish their job so I ended up picking up each individual plant and hosing 'em down in the shower to just simply wash the little bastards off and that worked pretty well. Since it was right before harvest anyway I just kept rinsing 'em every other day (which flushed 'em as well) and everything turned out great - but I'm glad to hear about another weapon in the arsenal that actually works good. Thank you.

" NO MORE SPIDER MITES ON CANNABIS"
The word I got from a group of growers who used the product when it first came out was that 60 ml per gallon is a perfect rate for cannabis. Worked great for me. 2 applications took care of the mites and eggs. Apparently the low rate will take care of them but it takes a few applications and the high rate could cause burn on super sensitive varieties or those to close to the light.

" NO MORE SPIDER MITES ON CANNABIS"
so i went back to the website to order more to keep up on prevention since this product has worked so well for me, and noticed that they updated some information about spraying and quantities that i thought could be helpful to you folks....
Due to the number of daily inquiries we receive about proper application rates and time between spray applications, we have put together the following guideline. This guideline can also be used loosely as a reference for all plants, beyond the application to medical cannabis, and other species such as tomatoes, etc. All spraying should be done after sunset or when lights are out. This enables adequate time for the plants to dry fully.
Here are the guidelines for spay applications:
1) Seedlings, cuttings/clones (plants with less than 4 nodes) should not be treated with more than 40 ml per gallon. Seedlings should have at least 2 sets of true leaves before treatment. Young plants do not have the waxy cuticle present to stop the product from penetrating the cells, and therefore it can burn or bleach the leaves. Greenhouse trials have shown that application rates as low as 20 ml per gallon to be effective for plants this young.
2) Plants with 4 or more nodes in a vegetative phase or flowering phase can be treated at rates between 40-80 ml per gallon. For those of you looking for instant gratification, the 40 ml per gallon rate will not be suitable. This rate works slowly over a 3-4 week basis to eliminate your problem. It works great but takes patience and time. The 40 ml rate can be used as often as every third day. 40ml = prevention and protection from future problems. We highly suggest applications at this rate every 7-10 days up until week 5 of flower regardless of how clean your plants appear to be.
If you don’t have time, the 80 ml per gallon rate can be used for instant gratification. But be cautious, this rate can be a bit much for certain species of cannabis. With this high of an application, they can get a very slight and very sporadic leaf burn, usually on the oldest fan leaves. Much of the damage to these sensitive varieties can be avoided by making sure that the plants have had adequate time to dry, and raising the lights 4-8 inches above the height that they are currently at for the following day or two. Two to three applications, spaced 3-4 days apart will completely eliminate your issues.
In a perfect world this would be ideal: two to three applications of Quantum Apocalypse, at a rate of 60 ml per gallon, spaced 3-4 days apart. This has proven to be extremely effective without concern for the integrity of even the most sensitive cannabis varieties. Lights must be out during the spray application (regardless of rate applied) and adequate time allowed to dry.
3) This product can be used within 3-5 days of harvest.
4) The plant should be sprayed from the bottom up. Start by spraying the undersides of the leaves while working your way up to the top of the plant. After the undersides have been fully soaked, proceed to spray the top surface of the leaves. If the tops of the leaves are sprayed first, they will start to droop and it will be hard to obtain adequate coverage on the underside of the leaves. As mentioned on our home page, Quantum Apocalypse is 100% effective, all of the time, as long as it used properly.
