dont you think that the stem is too skinny??????
Lol, I have done this too many times..... And I'm not a rookie so I have no excuse. Don't worry too much. Here's what I suggest:
Support it! Use anything that you can stab into that soil to lean this fragile lady onto or near, don't pull her from one side or to another. Make sure your light IS close enough, but don't overcompensate by putting it too close. Something else you COULD do and some might not agree, but I have had success doing it. Pull the lady out of this medium, and replant her deeper so that she doesn't have such a long stem showing. You could go 1/2 to 3/4 of that stem back into the dirt. That lady hasn't had time to rootmass too much so you won't have too much trouble getting her out, but BEEEEE careful and go slow. Depending on if you just watered,, the soil might be compact at the moment. Which will make this tougher. But you could squeeze the put edges near the top and the bottom (like your loosing it for a transplant). Hold onto the ladys stem while tilting the pot over to let the soil come out of the pot. You get the idea of what I'm trying to say. However you get her out, just make sure you don't cause any ripping or tearing of the roots. If you attempt this and the soil is too wet and causing you problems, stop and wait for the soil to dry. If this makes you uncomfortable, you can just support this girl as I said and let her grow. Use a fan to blow her around only AFTER she gets stronger to strengthen the stem. And when you transplant her, put her further down then you normally would to compensate for this extra space. Either way is fine and I have done both many times.Salvein211 Reviewed by Salvein211 on . dont you think that the stem is too skinny?????? 288603 this is the latest picture from my plant its about 10 days from germination i must admit that i made a mistake ive put the lights far away from the pots dont u think that the strem is too skinny ? im screain to death somebody help me Rating: 5
