    false wall help

I have just set up an area that it 3' by 6' and am running 400 watts'. My question is what to use to cover a false wall. Right now I have black plastic running along the frame I built out of 2x3's and stapled the plastic to it. However I cannot easily get in with out undoing a corner and re staple it every time. Any suggestions?

Yes! Just had a similar problem.
I had to create a wall 10'x12'x12'. First, I purchased two 10'10 sheets of Black/White poly (visqueen).
I set them up to overlap by a few feet in the center, and sealed around the walls and ceiling with staples and duct tape. The overlap allows me to velcro the corner up for access and also vreates a light tight seal.
If you don't want to buy more plastic, you could hang some mylar up, but the white side of the poly is very reflective...
Don't re-staple, just get some velcro from 'the wal-mart', or mount a small hook. If there is a light leak to fix because of the velcro, use door insulation strips between velcro strips.

If you search for it; There is a sticky tape zipper that is designed for exactly this situation. It is about 6' long. You stick it on your plastic where you want to enter, and then unzip the zipper, and cut a slit the length of the zipper. Walk in. When you come out of grow area, you merely zip the zipper up, and grow area is safe and secure.

You can also frame a 4 foot door area and buy/insert some folding louver doors to hide the plastic wall/door.
