can you alter the dark and light hours?
Howzit HTY?
This sounds like an experiment that is worth doing right.
Allow me a suggestion.
If you can do so, please do a side by side test.
Couple gals with a 36 hour launch, couple with straight 12:12.
Start a thread for it, taking pictures before and after
Science and logic say that an 11:13 light to dark ratio is all you need do to hasten flower set.
After 12 hours of darkness the hormones that control the inhibition of flowering are almost fully depleted.
So, logic says that adding a "safety hour" of darkness might speed the appearance of pistils.
Once they are in flower, changing back to 12:12, or even 13:11 will provide more light energy during the flower stage.
But if you don't try this 36 hour experiment you'll add another unresolved wondering to this mess in my mind.
(Keep in mind the "dark time" trigger threshold will vary with the strain.)
