There is always at least 1 6500 in my flower boxes. I don't overload the plants with it, but they get the spectrum, and my plants are constantly turned and rotated, so every part of the plants get some time with it each day.

Crap, sorry I didn't answer the question - I have nice, thick, sturdy stems - I've seen others have week and spindely plants, so I'd like to say yes, but this could be attributed to many variables. I've never flowered without full spectrum, but I've made several other mistakes!
low_rdr Reviewed by low_rdr on . Does using both types of lights make a difference? So I was watching a documetary on growing the other day and they were talking about using MH and HPS lights for the plants durring the flowering process. They said that the plants get a wider spectrum of lights and will develop thicker denser buds. My question is...has anyone tried this and if so does it really make a difference? I am using CFL lights because I am growing in a small area and dont want to worry about heat issues so I would be using the 6500K and the 2700K light bulbs. Thanks Rating: 5
