SB County Board meeting speak out for
Deputy Sheriff Paul Schrader on Tuesday, Nov. 27.
[/align] I had originally been under the impression that there was going to be a rally in front of the SB Co. Administration building, but there is no rally.

What the organizers are asking is that you be there at 10 a.m. when the meeting begins. Everyone in attendance will receive a Paul Schrader for Sheriff ribbon to wear while in the SB Co. Board meeting. The idea is to have everyone sit together so that the Board will see the community support for appointing Deputy Sheriff Schrader. At the public comment section, everyone is encouraged speak before the Board in support of Deputy Schrader being appointed as SB Co. Deputy Sheriff.
[align=center] [/align] You need to be aware that the public comment section is at the very end of the meeting. This is done intentionally by the Board to discourage people from speaking during the public comment section. With 81 items on the agenda it is quite possible that public comment will not occur until almost 12 noon or even later ā?? possibly after a lunch break which means the public comment section wonā??t be until 1:30 p.m. or even later.

I realize that sitting in what is sure to be a boring meeting at best for two hours borders on cruel and unusual punishment and that many of you do not have that much time. If you canā??t stay for the entire time, come when you can. The best time would be at the very beginning of the meeting when everyone is there and the Board can see the community support for appointing Deputy Sheriff Schrader. If you canā??t come at 10 a.m., come anytime you can and join us in the meeting room.

The Board of Supervisors meeting is held at the San Bernardino County Government Building at 385 N. Arrowhead Avenue in downtown San Bernardino, CA 92415.

[align=left]I had written in the last email that in addition to the Schrader push, [/align]Letitia Pepper[align=left] is facing a disbarment hearing in Los Angeles on the same day at 9:45 a.m. If that isnā??t enough going on that day, I have just learned that Nov. 27 is also the day Joe Grumbine will be in court for a hearing in his ongoing trial by a thousand cuts.
