Quick fix 5.7.1...will it work in Oregon?

    Hey there!

I will be having a pre employment screening within the next week or so, I will find out exactly when tomorrow morning. I am a daily use girl (couple of bowls a day split with my hubby) and have been for about the last 4 years or so. I know that my best bet is going the substitution route. I purchased some QF from our local smoke shop, says Spectrum labs all over it so I'm assuming it is legit. My question is, will this pass a UA in Oregon? I have been hearing rumors that a few states are testing for synthetics, Oregon included. Does anyone know more information than this? I know a few folks who would pee for me, so at least I have another option. Thanks for all the advice and help.

They are not testing for synthetic urine, they are testing for the presence Uric Acid in Oregon. You'll need to purchase a Canadian Quick Fix Urine, that has uric acid included.

Thanks. The box says it contains UREA...is that the same thing as uric acid?

The Canadian batches contain a vial of urea crystals that need to be added to the QF solution in order to get past the uric acid checks of Canadian drug testing.

There is no concrete substantiation that any of the States are testing for uric acid. All there exists is a bunch of anecdotal accounts without any legitimate documentation to substantiate the rumors. If it was actually true that uric acid is tested for, there would have to be standards established by the SAMHSA division of the United States DHHS, complete with cutoff thresholds for all certified labs to go by ( in the same manner that creatinine, specific gravity, pH, etc; are). As anyone would notice when looking up the DHHS regs on Specimen Validity Guidance, there are no standards established for uric acid. Therefore, its improper for labs to flag a urine sample for a lack of uric acid without established standards to go by. Labs certified by the DHHS have to apply the criteria for "non-human"/"substituted" samples as outlined by the SAMHSA division of the DHHS.

Wow, thanks BT! This is very good to know and eases my mind considerably. A buddy of mine just passed a routine random test for his employer using the same batch of QF that I purchased myself. Combined with what you just told me, I'm going to assume I'm safe. Thank you so much for the information. I'll let you all know how it goes!

Hey guys! Sorry it has taken me so long to repost...I actually have yet to try using QF. The job I was interviewing for basically got removed. They are hiring again in June, I will make sure to let you all know then! How did it go for you MaryJane?
