Rally to support Deputy Schrader

San Bernardino has always been hell on wheels for medical marijuana patients. This disregard for state law has always been maliciously enforced by San Bernardino County law enforcement.
Current SB County Sheriff Rod Hoops has been a major disappointment for mmj patients as when he originally came into office two years ago, we thought he was going to work with us to implement state law. We couldnâ??t have been more wrong as his office has been relentless in going after mmj collectives and individual patients growing their own medicine. His office was one of the major instigators of the outdoor growing ban so I am glad to report that

Sheriff Hoops has announced that he will be leaving his office soon to take employment elsewhere. Sheriff Hoops is maneuvering to appoint his own successor, but there is a groundswell building in support of the man who ran against him and came in second â?? Paul Schrader.

Paul Schrader is an experienced law enforcement professional with 29 years of service to city, county and Federal law enforcement agencies. He currently works as a Deputy Sheriff at the Los Angeles County Sheriffâ??s Department. Deputy Sheriff Schrader has spoken at a MAPP medical marijuana patientsâ?? meeting in Victorville and has demonstrated his understanding of California state mmj law and his intention to enforce it and not try to undermine it as has been the modus operandi of current SB Co. law enforcement. There is a coordinated movement to get the SB Co. Board of Supervisors to appoint Deputy Sheriff Schrader as the new SB County Sheriff. Unlike whoever Sheriff Hoops anoints as his heir apparent, Deputy Sheriff Schrader actually has received the vote of over 44,000 citizens of San Bernardino County. That he should be the next Sheriff only makes common sense and good government. There are two things you can do to help convince the SB Co. Board of

Supervisors to appoint Deputy Sheriff Schrader to the position of Sheriff.

1. If you live in San Bernardino County, then sign the on-line petition right now by going to the following link: http://www.change.org/petitions/san-..._term=33737016 If you donâ??t live in San Bernardino County, but know some folks who do, then email, phone or invade their home and get them to sign the petition. About 200 more signatures are needed to get the petition before the Board to appoint Deputy Schafer as Sheriff.

2. Wherever you live, come show your support for Deputy Sheriff Schrader on Tuesday, November 27th at 10 am by coming to the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors meeting and speak out for Paul Schrader to either be considered for the appointed position of County Sheriff or at least request the Board to consider holding a special election. The Board of Supervisors meeting is held at the San Bernardino County Government Building at 385 N. Arrowhead Avenue in downtown San Bernardino, CA 92415 Deputy Schrader supports mmj patients and we need to support him â?? thatâ??s what it is all about. If we donâ??t get out there and support him, it will send a message to other elected officials that supporting us will be of no benefit. There are lots of us out there â?? letâ??s throw our weight around a bit. If you would like more information on Deputy Sheriff Schrader, check out his website at www.sheriffpaul2014.com.
