commercial light????
as with all new growers i'm trying to stay on a budget till i learn this craft then upgrade. i have a couple of 400 mh that from a welding shop for 35 bucks. works fine, had to rewire for 120v and buy a new bulb but my nodes are close. works as well as my 250w magnetic ballast. just wondering am i the only one? will i get better results if i get a magnetic ballast? i ask cause i have found some 1000w for a fraction of the store price. almost ready to flower and can mos def use one....

I don't understand about the mh 's, are they mag or are they digital? if they are mags you should leave them 220v ( lower operating cost) a digital 1000w ballast that can be dimmed is a better alternative as you can run them 1000/600/400 as needed. hps is much better for flowering your girls.
