The test is not done by a lab but instead at the end of a safety meeting by a test strip interpertated by one person. they will be telling me on the spot if i pass or fail. if i fail i can never work for the company agian in my life.
If your employer terminates you due to an unconfirmed positive test result, you have grounds to seek legal action against the employer. The sample must undergo a confirmation test (with quantitative values provided) in order to conclusively prove that a urine sample is indeed positive for a particular drug(s). An onsite instant lollipop assay (which is a pass/fail endeavor and thus will not give quantitative values) will not suffice in the eyes of a court judge. Besides, instant type assays are susceptible to false-postives ---- due to either misinterpretations (ie; a "faint" line misinterpreted as a positive) and/or substances, foods, etc consumed by the donor which trigger the false positive. Thats why theres a confirmation GC/MS test.
