I wanted to touch on the lighting gear as well, the brinks computerized timers run from 9 to 14 USD and can be set for 6 different cycles, I currently only use 18/6 veg lighting, but have the ability to do 12/1 etc
very cool! Thanks for the info on the brinks timers. I have one that I was not very impressed with however. It has the ability to change state every 15 minutes, but sadly broke shortly after turning it on. I will have to take another look at their line however after reading what you have said here.

Thinking of Zandor as I say this however, I have to again state how happy I am with the computerized control that I enjoy now with my x-10 system. Yes, I have to dedicate a computer to it, but the things that I am now capable of doing, not just in the garden but around my home, are amazing. You do get what you pay for sometimes.
