    Clone machinces?? Anyone used them?

Going to start cloning and see if its easier than growing from seed. (I love to experiement) I've done some research and have decided to use one of the cloning machines. Can anyone thats used them recommend one that works good and has a decent price tag? Thanks

I have cloned about every way you can and the best for me is areo cloners. No rockwool or starter cubes.
they can cost alot and can be built for very little. So if money is no problem, go for it.

Cloning, what can I say ? If I could never go back to seed I would. But it's the only way for me to get something dif.
The time saved is well worth it and alot faster getting the next round veggin for the flower room.

A quality areo cloner is the only real way to go for easy clonning + results are quick and sure. However the costs for one of those is unreal. Way overpriced for what you get. I made a couple of bubble cloners out of 5 gal buckets, an air pump and bubble stones for around 20 bucks each that clone 12 plants each which is about right for my size of setup.

I saw a few on amazon in the range of $50-69, was thinking of going with one of those

I saw a post by Rusty Trichome on how to make one. It looked so simple, I thought, I could even make one. search around, before you buy. Seems like R.T. used some ends of PVC a few small 1" pvc pipes and said, it took about 2 hours.

I've seen a few threads of people making their own and simple. pr

I use a product called a clone bucket that was about $80 at the local hydro shop. It's basically about a 3 gallon bucket with 18 2" holes in the lid for foam inserts that hold the cuttings. In the bottom is a 160 gph pump with a PVC T fitting that holds 4 360 degree sprayers (same ones you see in most aero cloners). Dependent on strain, this one generally takes 2 weeks and you have great roots. Easy to put into hydro net pots, or plant, what ever you like. I spent the $80 bucks because it seemed pretty reasonable compared to others.. would be very easy to replicate though. I also tend to replace the foam inserts for each use. If cost is a big concern, the inserts are reusable and clean up pretty well.
