So to all those people like me who were scared to use Quickfix, it works. As long as it is not sent to a lab for a mass spec to analyse, it will pass a basic strip every time.
The QF will pass the Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry tests as well. The GC/MS is only used to test for drug metabolites and two types of adulterants (Pyridine and Glutaraldehyde). The QF contains no drug metabolites, nor these two adulterants to test positive for. Different methodologies are utilized for the validity tests.
