My first grow tell me how im doing?

This is my first grow, my grow box is made out of a speaker box hollowed out with a light. the bottom lower leaves started to yellow, i am using fox farm big grow, i just recently changed the light to 12/12. i cant have them grow too tall, any advice is greatly appreciated, im new at growing and using forums. i dont know the ph of the soil i have not had the money for a ph tester so iv been using the fox farms lightly, i think i have nut burns on on of my bottom leaves, ill post pics when i can, (the grow box is hidden im my closet)

Someone please help lol I dont want anything to go wrong with my first grow also when would they be ready to clone? And how can I keep them from our growing my grow box? Anyone???

From the looks of it... You have already let them get WAY too tall for that grow box.. Especially if you havnt flipped them to 12/12 yet... I would say now would be a good time to take some clones.. and flip them asap! You may even want to consider taking your clones from the top of your plant.. and then cutting it roughly in half... Look up "Topping" on youtube... you will NEED to do this if you want to keep them short! Those plants will grow about 3x their size once you flip to 12/12.... They look healthy tho! Take some cuttings and let the flowering begin!

Iv just recently took one clone. Iv never don't it before I have cloning jell but no dome. So I thought if I filed a cup up with water put a lid over it put a hole it it for the stem and then put a small Baggie with water in it over it to keep the humidity in? It's been 2 days the clone looks alright. I'll post pictures when I get home. Iv read up on topping can I top the mother plant after it heals from me taking a clone from it? Thanks any advice is greatly appreciated.
