My first grow tell me how im doing?

Go pick up a jiffy tray from walmart.. they are like 5 bucks for the smaller ones.. they come with peat pellets and a dome.. wet one of the peat pellets and let it expand.. use that to put your next clone in.. It looks like the first clone you took was basically the top of the one plant.. is that right? If so.. you have already topped that plant.. and it should shoot 2 stems off from the node you cut it at.. Do the same thing with your other plant.. and use the top for another clone.. look up cloning on youtube.. there are a few vids of how to do it properly.. Topping will definately increase your yeild as well.. I would also recommend keeping your temps under control a little better.. looks like those have stretched up quite a bit.. keep your temp around 85 during the day and 75 at night.. and you should see the plant bush out more and look less like a charlie brown cristmas tree... lol... also.. keep those lights as close as you possibly can to those plants! I would even recommend hanging them in the middle of the 2 plants.. and rotate the pots every day or two... this will help keep them from stretching as well... Once you top the other plant.. you will probably want to flip to 12/12 within a day or two.. they are going to get about 3x that size during flowering.. be prepared for that! Good luck dude!

Keep the light about 8 inches from the top of the plant. The plant will by nature stretch as close as possible to the light, so you don't want to place it too far or the plant will stretch like yours did. Your stems are long ass 8-) I am doing my sorta first grow..technically my second grow, but never got to flower because I had to go away for an extended period and the plants never survived. This time is my first real grow, but I've done a ton of research, so even though it is my first full grow it doesn't feel like it. Anyway, I will document it so you can see it.

Can you put up updated photos of your crop? I just flipped to 12/12 Monday, so I got at least till mid Feb before I can see results. One is a Sativa so maybe even mid March. The other two are more or less hybrids..one is sativa dominant and the other is indica dominant.

As for cloning...i never did it, but I don't think the baggy or the cup was the issue. Did you slice it at a 45 degree angle? Did you then make a small incision splitting the stem in half? Also did you dip the stem into some sort of root stimulant for a few seconds? Did you add a drop of root stimulant to the water? YOu can get the stuff cheap at a grow shop. Couple bucks I think.
