First grow help

Hi I'm fixing to start my first grow and was lookin for some insight and opinions from set up, lighting ventilation etc. kinda give me ideas to put with mine. Along with different tools you may use for ph, nutrients and wat not.

Also maybe some ideas on wat to grow, I've always bought, smoked a lot of diff types but dnt know what turns the biggest yields. I smoke the good stuff most the time, Reggie here and there so input on those would be great

Here's the room I have to work with: it's a 15'x13' foot room has one window, 4 two plugin outlets one on each wall, one floor vent, and a 3'x5' foot closet the main room and closet have one big light a piece I had planned on putting green lights in jus incase I needed to do something in the dark hours cus they dnt sense that as light,

And I will be hand watering instead of using hydro systems.... Really look forward to input, thanks.

Hand watering is best my opinion it also gives u a chance to get to know your babies also, I am not an expert a little here and their I understand bout your quest for info and no response sucks good luck and your babies will love you so they might give you an xta something u get what u putting

smoke-eat-smoke what a life to live. dont know jack bout cooking yet(til my harvest that is) sorry!! just started soil from hydro so yeah you mos def get to know every freakin girl. its a good thing cus you can check for mites and things. was looking thru the site saw his post and remember how confused i was in the beginning with a lot of space and even more questions. sometime it helps to get feedback even if the answer is in plain view!

There are formulas for calculating the lights and your needs. I can see, you are a bit stuck with electricity, as I was. I am certain, knowing how many holes in the walls, is not as important as, the load you can put on them. And, in my situation, I cannot go above, a certain # of Amps~without creating a mess~I cannot deal with, emotionally, right now. You can just click on the links in Bigsby's signature. That will be a start. There is a thread here by a member of the name, heck, I forgot, he is a horticultorist, an old thread, I'll go hunt and come back with it, if I can find it. If not, I'll try another time.

I've been reading this stuff, for a few years. In as much as, I tossed some seeds, in with my annual vege garden, many years ago..it was fun to grow and I loved growing anything, that would. Now, with a medicinal need, it makes it a very serious affair, of which, many patients, will not take lightly.

You will need to consider which kind of lighting you will use for each stage of growing. All those things are covered in that thread.., filters. I started by reading grow logs and the indoor growers that seemed to be a bit relaxed in their approach to writing to people (in all forums) and a bit courteous (it costs nothing to give)..They generally tell you why they do what they do and how, in a grow log. Ask the grower a question and I am sure, you will get an honest answer.

I am stuck on, exactly how many plants I need to grow for my needs. I've read plenty too! Yield, has more to do with lights and the plant, than the grower-often. Still learning.

That maybe why you are getting the response's you are.
Plus, on equipment, you are going to need meters..I think if you read Emilya's grow log, it had some pretty good information on what was used, for R.H., temps, pH among other things.
And now, we are moving into the smartphone age and I've seen gadgets to control your room from an iphone, if you can imagine that! So, you are going to need to look at and read the threads, decide on your budget, google prices..we are not allowed to provide links here, so again, we cannot do it all for you. Once, you narrow down your needs..and desire, you'll get help.

I believe getting confused, is still OK, here, if you have to remind someone, you are a patient...just do it. Some get pretty stable with their medication and a bit impatient with people that haven't searched about, a bit. Like I said, my search thingy doesn't work. And I look for threads I remember, or try to go to each forum and click on it, look for a sticky..if it says sticky, say for instance in the section for Lighting: read it. The stickies have plenty of value. When you get frustrated, again, come back here, and do, as you have! :jointsmile: pr

No rudeness intended but everyone & their mother wants on the " gravy train". Most of the vets on this site are "medical" not recreational. They are engaged in political change to right the wrongs of our corrupted system IMHO of course! So do not take offense if no answer to trivial grow questions. The love is out there & ya see that a couple high end growers did in fact respond to some of the ?'s asked visa vie Bigsby & Paintreat did answer in a timely manner so you're getting the best advice so chill & read read & read some more!
