rick simpson oil getting headaches and clenching jaw. is mine bad?

i have a rare ear condition that appear after getting a simple cold. struggling for 4yrs. seen evey doctor in world. they know nothing about this. i figure i try ricks oil. made a batch using 91 percent iso. (cant get 91) follow every step and got the black oil.
took 1/2 size of rice grain
gave me headache and i started clenching which make my ear hurt more.
as anyone got this result?
did i do too much?
did i make it wrong
im scared my batch may have been laced with something (according to a friend its not.it just not the quality)
please help as i dont know

I've never heard of making RSO with Iso, Iso is used for quick hash and works pretty good, but RSO is a longer involved process, I believe. I'd say you are getting some iso in your system

this is what the bud look likes. I save this to make sure it wasn't laced.
Can any one see if this is bad? or looked like it was dipped? I know its hard to tell
Also if doing the rick simpson method wouldn't the cooking burn off the toxins?

RSO can be made with Isopropyl alcohol 99% acording to his video.

I cooked it for two days in crock pot evaporated most all of it.
Then the left over oil I put in small metal container onto a coffee warmer (like the intructions) for 4hrs. Until the bubbling stopped.
would having a small trace of Isopropyl alcohol leave you with a headache and hung over feeling?
Should I try to burn off more? I don't have much oil after this process and doing this smelled up everything

I just wish I could buy the stuff.

The process can be done with Iso and it makes a distinctive oil. Many different solvents can be used, and each will bring in different components of the plant, some bringing more or less waxes, cellulose, chlorophyll, etc. For instance, Butane will bring a unique blend of waxes and other things to make a very distinctive amber oil, known affectionately as Honey Oil.

Possibly you are having a reaction to the abundance of material that is brought into the resulting oil using Isopropyl. I would suggest using a bit finer of a solvent, such as Naphtha to get a much more refined oil with much less inert plant content. Always use proper precautions when working with these materials, and make sure that you continue heating them until all evaporation ends to make sure that all the solvent has been released. I really doubt this is the cause of your headache. Possibly you tensed up out of nervousness, not knowing what the effect of RSO might be? It is anyone's guess, but rest assured... there has never been even one case of anyone dying due to cannabis use... ever. Relax, and let it heal you.

yeah if I just smoked it... but I put poison and chemicals onto it.... thats why I'm scared....


I worried that I didn't evaporate all the alcohol. (what if I didn't?)
I'm worried that I used 91% vs 99%
I worried that I got a headache from a 1/2 size of rice dose.
I'm worried that the weed I had to make this was laced. (wouldn't the evaporation get ride of any spayed toxins?)
I worried I'm poisoning myself. I want to get better not die. Is there a way to test the oil?

I know that there are dispensaries in CA (and presumably other places) that sell RSO. It sounds to me like you worry a lot though. Maybe this just isn't for you? May I suggest that you try distilling the oil using Grain Alcohol? As I have heard others say, "at least it is food grade." From the little I know about chemistry though, this is an inferior process because you in fact do not get rid of all of the grain byproducts, but at least it is edible. Maybe this will ease your tension a bit? I take RSO every day as do 3 other people around me. None of us can remember a headache caused by the RSO.

I do worry alot because I spent alot of money, The weed I got wasnt good grade, and I just want to get better. My ear is in constant pain and these doctors don't know how to fix it. people have done operations and destroyed their easr. No one knows anything about the ear. Doctor know nothing

rick uses NAPTHA, not any kind of alcohol, so all those other methods may work, but they aren't his method to do the oil, which would be the original recipe. Im sure they sell, and some can't get the right stuff, but I wouldn't use it, IMHO

I'm not some who uses. (just a few times when I was in holland and in college) so I know nothing about this.
I cant smoke it because smoke effect my ear. I tried eating it but that gave me reflux and hurt my ear.
I got a headache... no vomitting.... a little dizzy. No sure if thats the effect or how it effects me.
Rick did say 99iso can be use and there are debates which is better.

Is there anyway to test this stuff?
