just water the heck out them before you go. forget about them for a week and enjoy your vacation. the idea of the vacation is to take a break from ALL of your worries. if ti eases your mind, remember, it is a weed. and it thrives in deserts (among other areas). the 6-7 days without water might actually strengthen the plants. i do this every year -- water them well, keep them on 24/0, take off for 7 days (enjoy myself) and i've yet to lose a plant.

booch Reviewed by booch on . gowing on vacation So let's say one had some plants in the middle of the veg stage, and was going to be gone for a week. Six days to be exact. I'd rather not have someone come over, and would like to just have the plants not die. I'm thinking that if I give them tons of water the day I leave, drop the lighting down to 18/6 (from 20/4), they might be just fine and dandy by the time I get back? Or am I going to need a babysitter? Rating: 5
