Um when you were vegging these plant indoors (i assume) what light cycle did you have them on?

Now, they are essentially under going 12 / 12.

The plant is now adjusting to a new light cycle...flower time.

One of my good friends in fact, vegs inside all year but durring spring summer and fall, flowers the plants outdoors. He just took a february germination batch and moved them outside....to flower / harvest in June.

Anytime you go from 18/6 or 24/0 indoor grow, and then you go outdoors, you have started the flower process. Those plants dont look too mature for flowering.

The tops appear healthy, but lets see what happens.

HARDDON by putting plants outside at theis time of year wouldnt induce flowering at all. At this time of the year we are getting at least 14 hours of daylight a dayand it hasnt even gotten to the longest day of the year yet. I would say the reason that the plants arent doing so well, is the shock of the cold nights, and also just being transplanted to what looks like not very quality soil. Blazeallday, did u mix in any ferts into the soil before planting or just leave ther soil as is? I think theyll be okay tho

To quote the HERBAL EXTENSIVE AUTHORITY:

"Moving the plants to 10-13 hour light periods (moving it outside) with uninterrupted darkness (no bright lights nearby) will force the plant to flower. It will ripen and be 2-3ā?? when ready to harvest. When a plant is moved from continuous indoor light to a 10-13 hour day outside, it will start to flower in anticipation of oncoming winter. Vegetative starts moved outside March 1st, will be ripe by May 1. Vegetative starts moved outside on May 1 will be ripe by July 1. Starts moved outside September 1 are picked by Nov. 1st. In Winter, operations are moved indoors and a crop is planted for seed in anticipation of planting outdoors the next summer, or just for some extra winter stash.
Keep in mind that the ā??manā? is looking for plants in the Sept./Oct./Nov. time-frame, and may never notice plants placed outside to flower in April. Be smart, make your big harvest in May, not October!"

My bible says differently. I guess its all in how your faith lies.

    Happy Growing.

well let me clarify this shit. I am positive that if u have a flowering cannabis plant and the light is not completely strict, ie. one day u have 13 hours of light it will flower. I have my plant outdoors flowering right now in Chicago. It goes out at 7, comes back in at 7. I have been late sometimes and it just kept flowering by. Perhaps a low light regiment such as 13 hours of light/ 11 hours darkness induced flowering as well.

anyways I don't know if that was on topic and I don't really give a shit either, but what the hell is everyones deal right now? where did the hostility begin?

the plant is going through stress. what temp is it? also don't overwater it. Also u should look into some ferts that are specified for transplanting. It may not be able to adjust to outdoors now, but i guess we will find out.

I agree with sugar, not only cuz he lives in my hometown, but cuz he right. The plants don't have an internal clock saying if the days arent exactly 12 hours long then they wont flower.

i had them under 24hr light when i was vegging them inside...i wanted to do 18/6 but i lost my fuckin timer...what i did was buy potting soil and i mixed it in with a little bit of the soil there. probly like a 85/15 ratio..around there..i didnt add any ferts either..i never have used them..i figure the final product is just as good if not better by letting the plant alone to do its job how its used to. w/o the help of chems.. jack frost..i already transplanted them to theyre designated spot though. but too much sun is probly right... i have a leaf problem now which i will post pics of...

    blaze:
my wife buys plants for her garden, flowers for the front yard -- all that stuff. and whenever she does a transplant (plants are originally coming from a typical greenhouse) the plants, whatever they are, always show signs of shock (and the vast majority make it just fine). your plants have just gone from perfect conditions to the wild. realizing the time and effort put into your "plants," just keep and eye on them. i don't think they are doing anything unusual.

regarding the 24/0 to outdoors light, you've just done what all of us do when we switch to 12/12/ only you've done it naturally. it doesn't really matter that the hours aren't exactly 12/12 -- it's that you have radically changed the amount of light the plant receives (just like Harddon says).
plus, if you live in the upper midwest, hasn't your weather been a bit on the frosty side?
all of these factors go into what you're plants are showing on the pics.
remember, it is a weed -- and a hardy one at that.
