CFL to start of 2 plants??

Hi I don't know much about CFL's and I am wondering if one of the full spectrum 105w 5500k CFL lights would be enough to start vegging 2 small plants. They are about 2 weeks old and 2 inches tall. I would like to veg them for about a month and then put them under an HPS or MH light after my other plants are done flowering? Also this will be in a 6x4x12 shed and the CFL will just be hanging down over the plants. Thanks

In my opinion: T5, T8 or T12 fluorescent bulbs in a reflective fixture; work better.

Yes, make sure that you lift the light a little bit everyday - I'm getting about 1/2" per day on mine.

just a few inches away. CFLs are cool and wont burn the plant like the HPS lights. Just make sure that the bulb doesnt touch. I keep mine at about 3 inches from my plants...just incase I dont have the oppurtunity to adjust the lights every few days
