Drinking fluids is only helpful on the day of the U/A. Thats because the fluid consumption dilutes the THCA concentration that is present in the bladder. The idea is to dilute that concentration enough to where the urine sample registers below the cutoff thresholds of the drug screen (providing that the THCA concentration is not too high). Its a balancing act and the effects are only temporary - once the fluids ingested had all been urinated out, the bladder is replenished with fresh THCA-laden urine by the kidneys, and youre right back to square one. Therefore, drinking a bunch of water days or weeks before the U/A is useless.

3 days before your scheduled U/A, take a home THC test to see where you actually stand. When testing yourself, be sure to use the first urination of the day when THCA concentrations would be at their highest. If you test negative with the first urination, youre good to go.

If you test positive, you have only two viable options:

a) Substitution - Synthetic or a clean persons sample--both are winners. Highly recommended if you are truly serious about getting that job. For tips, read up on the Substitution "sticky" thread.

b) Dilution - Stop all exercise 3 days before your scheduled U/A and be as dormant as possible until after the U/A. Read up on the Dilution "sticky" thread (disregarding the "aspirin" step).


Also I had a friend who bought synthetic urine and he only used about half of it, but on the box it says not to open it until the day you use it so I'm assuming it wouldn't work now, but has anyone ever used it a while after opening it?
Ive routinely tested numerous brands of premixed synthetics using a validity test kit. Ive tested the batches on many occasions and experienced zero problems with creatinine, S/G, pH, nitrites, etc; as a result of opening the bottle.

I stopped 6 weeks ago just because I thought I needed to quit, but I have smoked a couple times since then. I smoked 4 weeks ago about 3 times on that day and I smoked 6 days ago a couple of times. I've been working out for about a month and I've been taking creating and drinking about a gallon of water a day during that time. I just got a job offer but I need to Rating: 5
