When to transplant?
1. I got 5 feminized seeds from Nirvana (White Widow) and I germinated them in seed starters 9 days ago and now all 5 of my ladies are 3 and a half inches. Im using a CFL grow. The containers are kind of small. I will see if I can post a pic of them but the dimentions are 2 and a half inches thick, wide and deep. I am worried that these containers wont allow much grow area for the roots but at the same time I know that Im not suppose to transplant them before 4 weeks or until there are 3 sets of branches. When should I transplant them?
2. I am also using a mixture of peat moss, pearlite and lime...Im skipping on the compost and vermiculite. Is it nessecary to have vermiculite?
I am currently avg 1/2 inch growth every day. I germinated my seeds in this same seed starter that they are in now.
Thanks for the help as I am a first time grower!

When to transplant?
They're fine like this for about 2 weeks.
Ditch the tin foil, you'll burn them, use a sheet, mylar, or flat white paint.
Your CFL should be right on top of those plants, your not going to burn them (use your hand as a guide) that's why they're stretched out, they should already have a 2nd and creating a 3rd node. They're stretching to the plant.
If you use pearlite you should use verm (what I've been told) Just keep your N level high, and soil moist for now, you'll be fine.

When to transplant?
They grew the second node last night. Currently on day 11 from seed. From what i read it said u could use mylar, flat white paint or foil. Didnt know the foil would burn them thanks for the heads up. Not sure if im gonna go with the mylar due to low funds so i might do the paint. Just worry about where to put them and for how long i would let the paint dry before i put them back.
