Powdery mildew?
Good news is yes! Bad news is you need to get some better soil or the soil you have is infested or will become infested with fungus gnats. I had the same problem because I was using cheap soil and I tried everything from neem oil to ivory soap to try to get rid of it but nothing worked. My solution was to completely transplant into new soil. I tried to get rid of as much of the old soil as possible, and keep it away from your grow spot when you do. I even went as far as to flush is with Phs balanced water before I put it into the new soil. Make sure if you do that, when you re-pot it you make room for the roots and dont balls them all up.
Another trick I picked up on these forums is using dryer sheets. Put them ontop of your soil after you have fresh soil. Make sure they don't get wet when you water but I've used them since I transplanted and I have zero gnats.
