Last year I bought a bag of, what I was told, was Silver Haze. I have looked at many pictures since then and believe it was actually Super Silver Haze but I may never be sure. Anyway I scored four seeds from that bag and since the smoke was great I started to germinate them right away. I ended up with three plants, all females, all turned back to veg for the purpose of mothering some clones.

Here is where I made mistake number one. I failed to label which mother the clones came from. One of the plants grew different from the other two. It grew taller and took longer to sex. I actually thought it was going to be a male. Turned out to be female and I thought nothing of it at the time.

Here is my problem I have grown out the clones and found two drastically different plants. One, looking like the weed from the bag I got and the other looking like Purple Haze. The buds are a deep purple with red veins on the underside. A beautiful flower but looks nothing like the weed that the seed came from.

So is this some sort of cross, hybrid or dormant genetics from it's (assumed) haze dna. I'm perplexed. What should I call it, are there others, if I save the plants and force veg them will I be able to keep this strain alive?

I have left some branching on the plants and plan to dig them up today. I will put them under 24hr veg lighting and hope for the best. I have no pictures to post of actual bud but could post similar pic of look alikes. I am most concerned with keeping this strain alive so any tips on that would be most welcome.
