my first grow 250 watts cfl

So here is a few pics and an update, I retired the 600 watt MH bulb it was just too much heat and started burning my girls, plus I had to have it so far away the light intensity was terrible. Now I put my 250 watt MaxLume 6400K CFL bulb back in there along with two 2700K 55 watters, yes it's less lumens but It solves my heat problem and now I can keep those bulbs 6 inches from the plants so they are getting alot more light intensity, since I have switched bulbs the amount of growth is through the roof now, lesson learned High intensity CFLs is hands down the best and most productive way for seedlings. I know MH is better but for seedlings I disagree once they get rooted and get 4-5 good sets of leaves then yes the MH will be better for light penetration and will make them flourish. Thats about it any questions feel free to ask.

Note to self when re-using soil from previous grows. Flush soil numerous times before transplanting seedlings in it. My soil still had much residue from old fertilizer making my soil very hot, which in turn damaged the first set of leaves that sprouted. All the rest of the new growth is coming with no physical defects.

I'm running into a problem with some spots idk what it is. I think it may be from my soil being to hot when I planted them, but I want to make sure its not a deficiency. My ph is good, you guys all know what I'm running so go for it.thank youAttachment 289822

UGGhh I'm having problems, I'm getting the same damn brown spots on my plants, but this time early in the veg stage, last time it didn't happen till flower now it's in veg. My only conclusion could be my soil mixture of happy frog and roots organic, the guy at the hydro store says it's a fungus in my soil. So i bought some FFOF, my only conclusion is I'm using the same soil mixture as before and running into the same problems, but earlier on this time. So tomorrow I am going to transplant into new soil. UGGHHH I hate transplanting, pretty scary. ALso I have a new white skunk germinating so excited about it so stay tuned and any help is alway appreciated and i return the favor

So I have found my problem i tested individually all the npk levels. When my coteldyons fell off I didnt start fertilizing right away cause my soil was very hot. I ended up running into two deficiencies N and P. So there it is, dont get cocky cause you got a grow under your belt ,cause knowledge comes with experience, and i feel that ik alot of information about marijuana, but there is nothing better than hands on experience and reading your plant, and knowing what it needs which Im learning.
