Young lady in distress, please help!

Hi y'all... I have a young plant that I started from seed only two weeks ago. Everything seemed to be going fine, but as my little lady started producing it's first few leaves, I noticed some small yellow dots, slightly curled edges and discoloration on those leaves. SEE THE ATTACHED PHOTOS.

    Some Background:

    - Using a hydro setup (Bucketeer DWC System - Stealth Hydroponics, Inc - $4.99 Shipping! - Hydroponics Systems and Supplies, plant lighting, Aeroponics, grow room, hydroponics shops, grow tent, hydroponics kit, grow kits, buddinghouse > Deep Water Culture)
    - perfectly controlled environment (temp at 75f, and humidity at 60%)
    - Clean indoor setup with no bugs or mold
    - I've been checking PH and it seems to be at around 5.75 to 6.0, just using test strips.
    - Used basic tap water that I ran through a "ceramic style" filter (this one... Big Berkey Water Filters | Travel Berkey Water Filter)
    - no added nutrients yet (I figured I'd wait until week 3 or 4 before starting that)
    - using CFL 6500k "grow" light bulbs, and they are set approx 12" away from top of plant

So far, the only thing I can think of is that maybe when I filtered the tap water, the filter removed some of the much needed minerals. Or, maybe I should have started adding nutrients to the water already... I was worried about adding nutrient to soon as the plant is only 3.5 inch tall.

I'll admit, this is my first grow... so I'm still learning.

    Any thoughts? Suggestions?

    Thanks!!

I started with hydro stuff from stealth.
Anyway change your water now to R/O or distilled water. You will need some cal-mag or calmagic to put back the trace minerals you want. Start 1/4 strenth nutes. She's ready and needs nitrogen.
you really need a PH meter, get a cheap PH 600 for 20 bucks on ebay. a TDS meter will help to

the whole point is how much poisin in your tap waterand how much did you filter out. Start clean and add back only what you need. thing will work much better. and come to the hydro section. lol

    Well said loc nar.
A ph meter is a must and no doubt she is definitely hungry.

Thanks so much for your reply!!

I changed out the water and replaced it with distilled water. Started adding some nutes, 1/4 strength as you suggested. I ordered a PH and TDS meter... Question is... What should the meter be at for "normal"? I'm assuming PH 6.0 is good but I'm not sure, and what should the TDS meter be reading at?

Also... How often should I add nutes? Is once per week enough? I was planning on changing the water once per week and add the nutes then, any thoughts on this?

Sorry for all the questions... But I want to get it right.

    Thanks again!!!!
