The story goes something like this:

Brahma had a 10/10 germination rate with a cheap-ass packet of KC Brains Mango given as a gift. He assumes that what applies to gift horses applies to gift herbs, so he'll not go into this troubled strain's lackluster performance review. He planted them in early July.

Of those 10, only 4 survived the raging cat monster that plagues his garden.

Of those 4, one is confirmed female.

The weather's been fine up here, apart from some heavy rain lately. Brahma wonders why the lady has kept him waiting so long without budding. The days are indeed shorter. The pistils are indeed lengthening. Why no love yet?

He wonders if anyone in these latitudes is experiencing a similar delay. Perhaps it's strain-dependent. He fears the frost will claim his beloved if she isn't dressed to kill by mid-November.

Winter is coming.
