First time growing am I doing anything right?? Please look
My plants are about 5 weeks old. 12 I started from seeds and 2 clones were donated to me. Im groing with a 1000w mh bulb in a grow tent. The plants I started from seed look ok, (I think) and are nice and green, but the clones look a little wilted and sickley, with the bottom leaves looking yellowish. I was told that the clones are about a month old. I transplanted them just recently into a bigger pot and the roots apeared healthy. (I think the pot was too small for how large they were) Could an experience grower please look at my pics? Thanks

I too am a first timer and from the looks you are off to a beautiful start. Question though, That 1000 watter, did you have tomake any modifications to any electrical? I want to use a 1000 watter but I'm scared too because I don't wanna trip my house.

Make sure that you have a "dedicated" circuit that you can plug in to. That means that nothing else is running off that circuit or your breaker will trip. It would also help if you have the means to have a 240 outlet wired to plug into but its not a must as long as you have just the light plugged into the outlet. The 240 lets your ballast run your light more efficiently and on higher setting. It will also use less electricity

Could be overwatering/underwatering or you are spacing your waterings out too far apart for those clones. i assume the clones are different genetics???? different strain...different needs

Its normal for the bottom leaves to yellow on clones.. Plants use a lot of nitrogen to produce roots.. and when the plant has no roots.. it needs to take the nitrogen from somewhere else... such as the leaves :-) Once you flip your plants to 12/12 (which you may want to do fairly soon by the looks of things) wait a few days and then clip the bottom 5 or 6 branches off the plant... this will cause more buds to grow at the top where the light is.. instead of a bunch of shitty little buds on the bottom... I also agree that you should rotate your plants once in while.. especially if you have brighter and darker spots in your grow room... The little clone you were worried about doesnt look bad at all.. Sometimes they just take a little long to grow up... kind of like kids ;-) good luck!
I grow food.. Not weed.. But I like weed.. So I will help you grow it as best I can ;-)

Thanks a bunch. The one I was worried about was actually the pic on the lower right. Flip to 12/12 already? The clone is only about 6 weeks old. It is starting to smell (good) like weed and I think I can see some small hairs forming
