I smoked last Saturday and the weekend before that. I have a drug test coming up (26th). It has been 8 days since I smoked and by the time I take the test it will be 11days. How are my chances of passing the test? I am also 5"1 and 135 pounds. Rating: 5

Drinking a bunch of water days before the test is useless. THC is stored in the fat cells and IS NOT water soluble. Therefore, you cannot rid the fat cells of THC by drinking copius amounts of water.
THC remains stored until the fat cells are burned for energy. When fat cells burn, the THC metabolites are released back into the bloodstream. From there, the kidneys filter the THC metabolites and deposits then into the bladder for the eventual exit (this is the main reason why THC carries a longer detection period than other types of drugs). The rate in which the THC metabolites are filtered from the bloodstream by the kidneys is unaffected by copius water consumption.

Drinking water is only helpful on the day of the U/A. Thats because the water consumption serves to dilute the THC metabolite concentration that is present in the bladder. The idea is to dilute the concentration enough to where the urine sample can register below the cutoff thresholds of the drug screen (that is, providing that the concentration is not too high). This dilution phenomena, however, is only temporary - once the fluids ingested had all been urinated out, the bladder is replenished with fresh THCA-laden urine and thus the donor would resume testing positive for THC.

If your home tests consistently show a negative with the first-mornings void, youre good to go.

Thanks. I've tested negative twice. Only once was with my morning void. I hope I'm in the clear. Drug tests are expensive!
