Hey, I wanted to know exactly what I have to do to run over a thousand watts in my room for grow without having to buy a generator. I heard that yooucan change a plug or to in the room from 15v to 20v. If that is true how is this done?

If you're in the US and live in a modern building then your typical wall outlet is on a circuit that can handle about 1500 watts. To draw about a thousand watts be sure you have nothing else on the same circuit then you have room for the extra power needed at start up. Electric equipment often draws more power to get started than it needs to run thereafter. So you have to allow for that.
