I'm no uber expert but here's what I know from experience. Are you growing in soil or hydro? If soil they will tolerate temps in the 80's but 70's is optimal. If you're running a 1k light you'll need some ducting to take away the heat. Don't waste your money on anything but a good fan. The twenty dollar ones will not cool that light. Get at least a 4" 160cfm unit and if possible duct the air outside. Depending upon where that air is going next you may want a filter before exit. If you're in hydro temps need to be more strict and again, lower is better. I'm still getting my feet wet (pun intended) in the hydro world so I may not be the best guy to give you advice there.

I was running a 1k light in a small 3x3x5 tent and even with fan powered ducting the plant tops burned when the light was about 24 inches from the plants. So, depending upon the size of your room adjust your lighting. A light meter and a little research will go a long way to help you understand what's necessary.
