Need a little help assessing root health and hydro nutrient brix
indoor or outdoor
Indoor
hydroponic
Small 3.5 gallon reservoir with aquarium pump running five 180 degree sprayers on 2" net pots filled with hydroton and pea gravel
specific medium
hydroton and pea gravel at the base
pH is ~6.0 using drops in water as measure
Water source
RO brought in
Source water pH
7.0
Source water EC (if hydro)
Unknown, no measuring capability at this time.
Age of plant
These are actually about two months old but were languishing in soil and transferred as an initial hydroponic experiment.
Type of fertilizer
Pureblend Pro (~250-300ppm)
CalMag (~100-150ppm)
Protekt (~60ppm)
Rate of application (if hydro, this is your PPM number, preferably after each component is added)
Total after slight adjustment for pH is ~500.
Lighting source and distance from plant
HPS Hortilux 1,000 watt bulb with Lumatek 1,000 watt digital ballast set at 750 watts. The distance from these plants is currently ~4 feet.
Air temperature (both day and night if you are running a dark period)
78-85 range.
Reservoir temperature
Not currently measured.
Relative humidity
~40-50%
Lighting schedule
12/12 (for about five days)
Type of ventilation your room has
4" can fan ducted pulling air from the inside of the room exiting to the outside, no filter at this time.
