1st time grower looking for some tips.

I live in the mid west, and I am going to try my hand at outdoor growing next spring. I want to grow a strain that stays shorter, royal dwarf maybe? If anyone can suggest a strain that would be ideal for outdoor growth that stays on the smaller side. This will be a guerrilla grow so I don't want to do a big sativa. I was also wondering when would be the best time to start germinating seeds for an outdoor grow.

If anyone has some seeds they want to get rid of that fits the bill pm me so we can work something out.

hey buddy i live in vancouver bc but i spent 4 years in STL so i know ur climate and how fucked it is and changes to hot and humid from shitty pretty quick. hands down ur best option is an indica dominant strain. short and bushy with big yeild and most are strong as hell. so if ur in the midwest i recommend you germinate ur seeds in a cup of water for 24 hours in the dark and when u check on em they should be sunk to the bottom, if not just touch it gently and if she sinks your golden. after that, plant those sons a bitches in like mid april (depending on ur heat and humidity, if its nice and warm earlier start then. the earlier the better). im aware this reply is super late and i hope u get it and can at least start a freshy next year. as for seeds, surf the net for seed banks in Van... or take a bag seed outta that standard ditch shwag that people smoke for some reason down there. if you grow her right and destroy the males u should be able to get some decent herb. good luck

Thanks for your reply. I have been scouting a few sites and trying to figure out what type of seed to get. Thanks for your advice on the indica, I will definitely do that.
