I cant tell if you need to change the lights a bit but if i knew what the exact smell was I could see if there was something going on but it sounds kinda normal till then i really cant help but I feel you its always a concern hope i can help when i know the exact smell of it and also if it is an autoflower i dont think the sun will hurt it if the temp checks out and the plant isnt stressing on all that going on with it i do kinda think you will be ok hope this helps, dont forget to tell me if it smells like og or lemon or grapes or skunk or something i even hear that someone in napa has one that smells like wine smell or something and that thing wants light its an autoflower so you can go ahead and light it up like a christmas tree but you better stick to any 12-12 you like just dont freeze or burn up your plants
