    Ready to harvest? (rusty hairs)

I know there is some rule about looking at these things with a 60x scope but I dont have one handy and need to make a decision. I have been out of town for a few days and when I came back I see there are rusty colored hairs on my buds. I seem to remember something about this being an indicator. Any thoughts? (Image below)

These are about six weeks into flowering. They are an indoor grow from bag seed. Attached is another shot much closer.

Hi mate. It's not the hairs you wanna be looking at,it's the trichomes. These are the tiny little mushroom looking things on the leaves. When they are clear like that, the plant is not ready. These will start to turn amber over the coming weeks. Keep a close eye (wicked shot by the way), and when you see around 70% of them an amber colour, this is the ideal time to harvest. The plant has reached its peak potency at this point and left any longer, potency will start to diminish. Hope this helps.

i would say at least 3 weeks on ur Plants the trichs are still clear!

LUKE3525 is partly right but i would like to add that if u harvest early when like 20-30% trichs r amber u get more of an up high if u harvest late like 70-90% u get a more downer higher..
