Plants can eat up the co2 in a closet in an hour or so. They don't look bad they just quit growing and maturing and stay the same on what little they have.
I think the atmosphere's co2 is like 300 ppm. No more than that is going to help unless you fix the conditions of your room to help the plants use it. Your room must be like 95 degrees, flooded to 1500 ppm for 4 hours flushed with fresh air and flooded again.

If you go with co2 enrichment REMEMBER CO2 is an orderless gas and can flood a room or house and kill all animals including yourself. Please be carefull.
