What does this code mean?
Hi all I am trying to figure out what this code means for the quest diagnostics lab means. I have been trying to figure it out all night but none of the codes I google include the #4s the code in its entirety is "SAP 8-50 #4S w/nit" quotes are only used to signify the entire code. I hope the #4S does not mean supervised or anything like that.

What does this code mean?
The #4S is a new one to me. Must be a new code digit recently adopted by QD.
But I know for a fact that the major labs like QD, Kroll, Labcorp, Concentra, etc; wouldnt use the test inventory code to signify whether a test will be observed or monitored.
Since youre taking an employment-related U/A, you dont have anything to worry about. Employment-related tests are not observed unless you had been suspected of tampering.
So if you were to get caught bringing in any type of "cheating contraband", or if you had submitted a urine sample thats outside the proper temperature range, or exhibited any behavior that would indicate intent to tamper, those would be sufficient cause for a sample collection under direct observation.

What does this code mean?
Hahah wow, I just made another thread with some follow up questions in it. Just did my U/A about an hour ago. Yeah I couldn't find that code anywhere it was signified by 35719N right in front of it and I couldn't find any thing relating to that code either. Maybe it means my state is now going to be testing Uric Acid?
Like you can look up the codes on the quest site sort of and it didn't even really find that one.

And even on the off-chance that they are, you dont have anything to worry about since youve indicated in your other thread that youve used a human sample for the sub.
