    Purple Power

I am growing a Sativa strain from Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds called Purple Power. If the baby plant is planted now in the NY area, what month would do you think it should be ready to harvest? Aproximatley?

    Here is the description:

Lovely purple buds on this plant give it a special taste and smell.
It is a powerful strain with sativa overtones.
It is a very hardy plant and can be grown outdoors in the worst climates.
Its ancestors are Hollands Hope crossed with Skunk#1.
    A powerful high sativa odor.

    Thanks.
Do you think it's a good idea to top the plants to keep the hight down?
Tying down may draw unwanted attention.
If you think it would be ok to do, when is the proper time to do it?

Here is a pic of two purple power plants I have growing. The one on the right I topped. The one on the left I tried topping, but I didn't get the whole sprout, and it's growth continues. Had a little problem with snails, but got some pellets that seems to do the trick.
