Clarification of Drug Test thresholds
##### will only test for the substances listed in this Paragraph. The first number in parentheses after each substance indicates the threshold for a reportable test result on the initial screening, and the second number indicates the threshold detection level for the confirmatory test: amphetamines/methamphetamines (300 ng/mL, 300 ng/mL); barbiturates (300 ng/mL, 300 ng/mL); cannabinoids in urine (100 ng/mL, 20 ng/mL); cannabinoids in blood (10 ng/mL, 10 ng/mL); benzodiazepines (300 ng/mL, 200 ng/mL); cocaines and/or metabolites (300 ng/mL, 150 mg/mL); phencyclidine (25 ng/mL, 25 ng/mL); opiates (300 ng/mL, 300 ng/mL); methaqualone (300 ng/mL, 300 ng/mL); methadone (300 ng/mL, 300 ng/mL); alcohol (0.08 g/100mL, 0.02 g/100mL).
So according to this guideline, am I correct in assuming that if the person tested here gets below 100ng/mL for cannabinoids they will consider it a pass and test no further, but if they test above the 100 ng/mL they will confirm with a 20 ng/mL test?HappyVet Reviewed by HappyVet on . Thats a pretty high cutoff level. Too bad everyone wouldn't do this.

It must be understood though that exercise can work against a person if the scheduled U/A
is 3 days (or less) away.
Anytime you burn fat cells, the stored THC metabolites are released back into the bloodstream. From there, the kidneys filter the THC metabolites and are deposited into the bladder for the eventual exit. This is the main reason why THC carries a longer detection period than other types of drugs.
Therefore, you want to curtail all fat-burning activities and be as dormant as possible until after the scheduled U/A. That way you wont be releasing a bunch of THCA into the bloodstream, which would end up in the urine to be detected.
So if youre subject to subsequent drug tests by the employer, and you wish to continue using during your employment, you may want to consider having a clean substituted sample (or synthetic) waiting in the wings.
