Synthetic VS Real

Thanks for this forum, I have learned a lot so far, my question:

For my pre-employment test I used Magnum Sythetic urine after talking with the local headship guy, I live in a SMALL town, he said there was one person at the testing facility who has caught a couple people using synthetic by actually smelling the samples, fortunately when I took my test I got someone else and did pass. However my employer does random testing every month as well as post accident/cause testing, so I can be tested on site at any time by EMIT and possibly a GC/MS fallow up OR mouth swab with fallow up. I'm not concerned so much with the mouth swab as I have heard it is rare but I have stayed clean for about a year as I have a family and this is a very good job with Benifits, bonuses and EXCELLENT salery.

I have been "banking" my clean urine now , freezing it, and just purchased a "whizz kit" cause the nature of my work is also somewhat physical and keeping the usually bottle with flip lid in my croch I was afraid it would be to vissable or could leak or fall out in the process of my daily tasks, the whizz kit is nice because it has it's own belt and is more "flat" agains my body and flexible.

My question is, should I use the synthetic that came with it or use my clean piss, taking into account I have to wear this every day, will the real pee go bad if I daily warm it up and store it if the fridge when not in use? Could I use the real pee for like a week and then pour out and use a fresh batch each week? I'm concerned about the synthetic not smelling and I can't afford to loose this job in this economy...

Ps- if I use the synthetic could I or a little into it to add some pee smell to it?

If that "person at the facility" had any real background in human biology/urology, s/he would understand that a lack of odor can be exhibited in human urine samples as well as synthetic.
S/he would also understand that it is improper to flag a urine sample on the sole basis of odor without first running the appropriate validity tests on it.

Dont add anything to the QF. If youre really all that worried about odor (in which you have no reason to be), then why not just use all of your stored clean sample?

You can not store real pee in the whizzinator. You'd have to change it every morning and through the old out. Synthetic is still going to be your best bet. You could just hand sew some pockets on the inside of your shorts to keep the bottle in.

Can anyone give an an informed answer as to why not add some real pee into the cup when subbing with synthetic? If the fake is the same constitution as the real isn't it just diluting it? I've read some posts on other boards saying not to do it as well as this forum but no real reason why...? Just can't get past the lack of smell issue, I know at the lab it's no issue as far as protocalls but the security does the tests at my work and they DO have a motive for busting you , don't want them to dump the cup and ask for another sample I can't give if there is any suspicion.

You can add your real pee to the synthetic but if its not clean it would be at risk of not passing the test and if its clean why bother subbing? If you're not comforable using synthetic then the most reliable way of passing the UA is just to not smoke any more.

Thanks, that's what I figured. I'm a mmj patient so I'm not quitting. Until the Feds reclassify it my employer will not tolerate it since its a "drug free" workplace.

The guy at your local headshop lied to you. Labs do not have the latitude to go rogue and reject samples based on smell and would open themselves up to a litany of litigation if they started doing such a thing. Don't buy into the FUD. Fake pee is just fine if you run your own QC on it and get the temp right.

Labs can ask for another sample to be taken, that's within guidelines as far as I know. The people who were "caught" possibly could have screwed themselves by not getting temp right etc and when asked for another specimen they walked out...My randoms are done on site at my workplace, we have security guards and little right to privacy as just being on the property I have to give consent to search of my vehicle and person, it's a gold mine and they don't f^uck around here so that's why I've been paranoid. Anyway I got a whizz kit and have been testing it before I smoke again, seems to work great, very sleek and stealth even with all the moving around crawling, climbing etc I do in my job. I've been using hot hands 10 hour hand warmer to keep perfect temp for approx 8 hours and then I replace with a fresh one cause I usually work 12.5 hours but the longest shift I pulled was 18 hours. I'm going to practice actually using it at home and validate it with a First Check home kit and send off to a lab for total assurance, I think I might even be able to pull this off under direct observation if it came down to it and with a little practice on technique.

Another member just recently posted a Pass using the whizz kit so this should work out good...
