Free Seeds from Seed Banks?

Was wondering,

Do any of these companies send any free seeds in order to try & get my business? Is it a good idea to email them and ask? Has anyone ever tried this?

Larry! "BEFORE" The Federal Crackdown in California; "Great Seeds" were running $10.00 EACH.
Any reliable Seed Company will "probably" be in short supply relative to Your "question".
I THINK the answer to that one would be no.
DO your own research and determine exactly what attributes you need, then "pray" that You can even "get" them now.

Typically, to get completely free seeds, you have to be able to give something of value in return.

That means that they usually go to established experts in the field with a following who will promote the specific strain online or in print.

An alternative would be to keep a look out for free seed promotions. Most breeders and seed banks only give away free seeds when you buy other seeds, but you can find no-strings-attached promotions now & then.

A few months ago, we had several Twitter-based contests that gave away seeds for free. I don't think we have anything going on right now, but I usually post about them when they pop up.

I order from the attitude, and at the begining of every month, they always have huge giveaways with every order. I think I spent maybe $125 on my last order, and got well over 50 quality feminized seeds, and a few regular hard to get strains, like goji OG, I'm hoping I get a male out of it.

One thing I have done in the past, when ordering and getting several different types of pick n mix freebies, is ask that I only get 1 type of freebie, having tons of strains is great, but it sucks when you get that random bean that doesn't pop on a strain you really wanted.

Anyway, on that note, yes you can get tons of free seeds, but nobody will just send you free seeds without you ordering.

Depending on where your at, you might be able to get some free clones
