I wish I had something useful to offer, it's gotta suck hefting her around like that. She's quite a beast.

What do your east and west horizons look like? Have you taken note of just how bright the location really is, at sun-up and sun-down? I imagine if you were in a valley, as opposed to a hill-top, your effective day-length would be somewhat shorter, eh? A little east-west shading could be beneficial in a case like this. <shrug>
